'FRIDAY FOOTBALL SHOWDOWN' IS SET FOR KICKOFF
WEDNESDAY, JULY 30, 2014

As training camps open around the NFL, it's time again to get serious about football handicapping.
We cover all of the betting angles weekdays from 2 to 3 p.m. on ESPN Radio (1100 AM, 98.9 FM) in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Sportsline show is streamed live on this website and also on espn1100.com.
Again this fall, we will host a 16-handicapper bracket for the "Friday Football Showdown," a $50,000 contest staged at the Golden Nugget sports book in downtown Las Vegas
. Details are on the "Friday Contest" page.
The prize pool for last year was $25,000.
Paul Stone defeated Scott Pritchard in the finals.
Results from last year's contest are posted on the "Contest Bracket" page.

The Friday afternoon contest shows are hosted by the Golden Nugget sports book in downtown Las Vegas.
